TERM & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

Welcome to Stella Arden & Associates.  These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our osteopathic services.  Booking an appointment or receiving treatment, you agree to these terms.

2. Appointment Booking and Cancellation

• Appointments can be booked via phone, online, or in person.
• Please arrive on time; late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time.
• Cancellation or rescheduling requires at least 24 hours’ notice. Please note that missed appointments will be charged in full unless notice of a cancellation is given.

3. Payment

• Payment is due at the time of the appointment unless otherwise agreed.
• We accept cash, card, cheque, BACS and insurance payments.
• Prices for treatments will be provided before your appointment; and additional treatments will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding.

4. Confidentiality and Data Protection

• All personal and health information will be handled confidentially in accordance with data protection laws.
• Your information will only be used for the purposes of your treatment and clinic administration unless you provide consent otherwise.

5. Health and Medical Information

• You must provide accurate and complete health information during your initial consultation and update the clinic of any changes.
• It is your responsibility to inform the osteopath of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect your treatment.
• Osteopathic treatment is safe but may involve some risks; please discuss any concerns with your practitioner.

6. Treatment Consent

• By undergoing treatment, you consent to osteopathic procedures being carried out as deemed appropriate by your practitioner.
• You have the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time.

7. Liability

• The osteopath will practice within the scope of professional standards.
• The clinic cannot be held liable for any adverse effects or injuries resulting from treatments where accurate health information was not provided or instructions were not followed.
• We recommend consulting your GP if you have serious health concerns before commencing treatment.

8. Complaints Procedure

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
